The Story
We are Gergana and Konstantin Zeuke, a couple with two children and a deep love for travel and hospitality. Having lived in six countries, Croatia always drew us back—with its stunning nature, rich culture, and warm-hearted people.
When we discovered this old Istrian farmhouse, it was nothing more than a ruin—roofless, abandoned, and forgotten. But we saw its potential and dreamed of bringing it back to life. As a designer, I, Gergana, envisioned a place where rustic charm meets modern comfort, preserving the soul of the original stone house. Konstantin, with over 25 years of experience in luxury international hospitality, ensured every detail would provide warmth and relaxation of highest standards.
After years of dedication, we transformed these ruins into Villa La Vinella—a peaceful retreat where past and present come together. We hope you enjoy this special place as much as we do.

Each of the four luxurious bedrooms is a sanctuary of calm, where time seems to stand still. Bathed in soft, natural light, the rooms are adorned with natural materials—wood, stone, and old terracotta roofing—while textiles in gentle, earthy tones add warmth and elegance. The stone walls whisper the story of the land, preserving its timeless charm. Comfortable beds, like clouds of comfort, invite you to rest and dream, while the gentle breeze from the open windows carries the scent of the surrounding nature. From each room, the view unfolds like a living painting—rolling green hills and the shimmering pool in perfect harmony, offering the ultimate escape into peace and serenity.
Master Bedroom
Located on the ground floor, the master bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed and direct access to the terrace, offering stunning views of the infinity pool and garden. The ensuite bathroom boasts a bathtub, walk-in shower, double sinks, and a private garden exit. A walk-in wardrobe with safe, TV, armchair, and elegant storage pieces complete this serene retreat.
Gallery Bedroom
Located on the first floor, the gallery bedroom features a private lounge with a stunning glass wall, offering breathtaking views of nature. The king-size bed ensures comfort, complemented by an en-suite bathroom. A rocking chair invites you to unwind, whether you’re soaking in the view of the rolling hills or losing yourself in a book.
The room also includes a walk-in wardrobe, a TV for entertainment, and a safe for peace of mind. A quaint cabinet with a klaping buro, a cozy sofa, and two chairs offer the perfect setting for table games or lively conversation. The balcony, with its panoramic view of the lush garden and countryside, creates the perfect space to relax and reconnect with the beauty of nature.

This cozy bedroom features an extra king-size bed, offering the perfect setting for a restful sleep. With views of the Mediterranean garden and infinity pool, it’s a serene escape. The wooden beams and terracotta roofing evoke the charm of a bygone era, while the private bathroom ensures ultimate comfort and privacy. Additionally, the room includes a wardrobe, a bureau table, and a TV, providing convenience and relaxation for your stay.

This charming bedroom features two single beds, offering a comfortable and cozy space. The room includes a wardrobe, a comode, a TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a beautiful view. The rustic stone walls and country-style design create a warm, inviting atmosphere, making it the perfect retreat for relaxation and peace.

Pricing & Stay Information
- All prices include VAT and tourist tax.
- Minimum stay: 7 days.
- Low season: Minimum stay of 3 days for 1,800 EUR.
- Pets: Allowed on request, with an additional charge starting from 100 EUR per week for a small dog.
- Pool heating: Available for an additional 20 EUR per day (April to October). Please inform us in advance to make the necessary arrangements.
- Check-in: After 16:00.
- Check-out: By 10:00.
Pool Information
The pool is open year-round for your enjoyment. For those feeling adventurous, you are welcome to take a refreshing cold plunge during the winter months, especially after using the sauna or hot tub. From April to October, the pool can be heated for an additional cost.
